Sweets or dessert are an integral part of Indian cuisine and also for Indian festivals/ celebrations. Flavours from the South have made their way all over the world by breaking all the territory boundaries. The lip-smacking South Indian sweets have a great love for the variety of indigenous delectables enriched with ghee and many marvellous southern creations that can make any sweet lover get hooked for life. There are few traditional South Indian sweets that are irresistible:

Mysore Pak 

Mysore Pak is designated as the Royal sweet to date as it is considered to be the “king” of sweets in the South, It is made from purest ghee, sugar, gram flour and cardamom which makes many wonders to a sweet lover’s palate. Karnataka is the origin of Mysore Pak will be an all-time favourite with its rich taste that is elevated with the taste of desi ghee that awes your palate and makes it relishing.  Adhirasam is sweet with a strong connection for festivals especially Diwali across homes in Tamil Nadu. This deep-fried snack is a combination of two ingredients – Jaggery and Rice Flour. M.S.
